HÅG x Recouture

Born in Oslo and coming to NeoCon 2026, the HÅG x Recouture collaboration brings Norwegian craftsmanship and circular design together in a collection of one-of-a-kind HÅG Capisco chairs.

HÅG partnered with Recouture — a fashion design studio based outside Oslo known for restoring and reinterpreting traditional Norwegian åkle textiles (pronounced OH-kleh). Using vintage woven tapestries rich in colour, texture and Scandinavian history, each chair features a different vintage åkle, thoughtfully paired with complementary fabrics and custom metal finishes to bring every textile to life.

See HÅG x Recouture at NeoCon and meet Recouture founder Hilde Hoff Nordskar. She will be at the HÅG showroom, Suite 1085, to share the story behind her restoration process and design philosophy.

Design your own

Bring home your very own HÅG x Recouture edition — a hand-made, one-of-a-kind interpretation of the iconic HÅG Capisco chair.

Each piece is individually crafted by Recouture founder Hilde Hoff Nordskar in collaboration with the team at the Flokk factory in Røros, Norway, using carefully restored vintage Norwegian åkle textiles. 

Because each chair is custom made, pricing and lead times will differ from standard HÅG Capisco models.
